The Melville Palm is newly refurbished accommodation. Rates are on a per room or per bunk basis. There are 5 rooms in total. 2 of those have bunks (4 beds in the one and 6 beds in the other). There is a communal bathroom available for these. 3 other rooms are available (all with en-suite bathrooms). Each of these are suitable for 2 persons and are available as doubles or singles.
The property boasts a large braai (barbecue) area and garden. It is has inside parking for up to 5 cars and is secure with a live-in landlord, electric gates and security bars throughout the property. A communal self-catering kitchen and a lounge with satellite television is provided. A servant is employed for daily house-keeping and a laundry service is avaliable on request. Meals are not provided as it is literally 100 metres away from the well known 7th street with many different restaurants and bars to choose from.
